Introducing Codeless Events Setup for Better App Advertising Outcomes
Introducing Codeless Events Setup for Better App Advertising Outcomes
Facebook BusinessOur vision is to continue simplifying ads on Facebook for businesses both big and small. Today we are announcing Codeless Events Setup for Apps, a new feature to help marketers understand how people interact with their business on mobile. This data will allow for better advertising outcomes in minutes, not months.
Events, or actions people take in your mobile app, are key to improving the efficiency and impact of your Facebook advertising campaigns. With the latest version of the Facebook SDK (v4.34.0), we’ve included a Marketing Kit which empowers non-technical employees to share their most important events, without writing code. It simplifies the setup process by enabling marketers to add, modify and remove events with a simple point and click tool. Marketers no longer need to ask their developers to write code, release a new version of their app and wait for people to update, a process which could take weeks if not months. Instead, with Codeless Events Setup for Apps, even non-technical employees can make updates when needed, creating the opportunity for more efficient, agile marketing for your mobile app.
Originally announced at F8, this new feature provides an exciting opportunity for app marketers to understand how people use their app, build audiences, optimize campaigns to acquire installs, engage lapsed customers and measure results more efficiently than ever before.
As the app economy grows, and as consumers rely increasingly on mobile to interact with brands and complete daily tasks, it’s important to create app marketing campaigns without overtaxing internal resources. With Codeless Events Setup for Apps, advertisers can develop and modify marketing campaigns more quickly, and developers can focus on building new app features. This creates the opportunity to acquire more customers, who keep coming back to your app.
To begin using Codeless Events Setup for Apps, you’ll need to integrate the Facebook SDK which now comes with a Marketing Kit.
